Buy yourself or a special person a gift of self-care and wellness this Christmas. Retreat to the forest and nurture your wellbeing on a Shinrin Yoku at Hill Farm, Tintern.
Shinrin Yoku is the Japanese art of forest bathing. It has been practiced for thousands of years and is now prescribed by medical professionals around the world as research suggests that Shinrin Yoku:
- Boosts your immune system
- Reduces blood pressure and stress levels
- Improves sleep
- Is a natural antidepressant.
This practice breaks down your senses so you can switch off, connect with nature and nurture your wellbeing. Based at Hill Farm, Tintern, our forest guide Tom will take you on a sensory adventure in the woods, explaining how and why it works. When you leave the session, you will take away various techniques to expand your practice. Walks typically last 3-4 hours/1-3 miles around Hill Farm in the beautiful Wye Valley. Shinrin Yoku at Hill Farm has recently been featured in The Guardian and described as “Radox for the mind”.
Lunch – locally sourced and all dietary requirements catered for.
There aren’t any expiry dates on our vouchers to take away unnecessary stress.
