Due to Covid-19 and to fit around social distancing, we are now offering a combination of zoom yoga classes https://forestretreats.co.uk/zoom-yoga/ and socially distanced woodland yoga classes at Hill Farm, Tintern https://hillfarmtintern.co.uk .
Yoga means “Yoke” which can be defined as union between the mind, body and spirit. It is a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices which originated in Indian. Today there are many different forms, but all modern Yoga is developed from Hatha yoga and is rightfully known as the root of all the wonderful styles we enjoy today.

Retreat to the forest and nurture your wellbeing with woodland yoga at Hill Farm, Tintern.
We are delighted to announce socially distanced outdoor yoga classes in our beautiful woodlands, connecting back to nature, your body and your breath.
These classes will be weather dependant starting Thursday 16 June 2020 and will continue to take place every Thursday and Sunday until further notice.
- Thursdays: 7 – 8.30pm
- Sundays: 3 – 4.40pm
**If you’re planning on attending regular classes why not get the 6 for the price of 5 bundle on Forest Yoga Classes? Once you’d bought the bundle you will be given a code to use when booking your class.**
Woodland Yoga has added benefits on your mental and physical health including improving strength and flexibility, boosting your immune system, reducing your blood pressure and improving your sleep.
Classes are limited to initially 6 people are 90 minutes long; which includes a long relaxation!
We have basic facilities such as compost toilets on site. After our practice, you are welcome to bring a drink and a snack so we can spend some time together in this beautiful space.
You are advised to bring the following:
- A yoga mat
- A blanket
- A block (optional)
- Good waterproof walking shoes to get to the woodlands
- A drink and a snack
- A towel
- Anything else to make you feel more comfortable in this space.
Classes cost £10 or buy a bundle of 5 and get the 6th free.
“My passion for yoga grew after having my second child and suffering from severe anxiety. Yoga helped me get out of my head and feel back into my body. After being made redundant on maternity leave, I used my tourism background to start yoga retreats in the local area by using other teachers to teach the yoga classes on the retreats. Over a period of 4 years, I naturally progressed to becoming a teacher myself and absolutely love it! I enjoy meeting different people, guiding them towards a more peaceful life and continuously learning on this incredible journey. Forest Retreats – Simply Yoga combine a mixture of different yoga styles, depending on where our journey is taking us. I like to think of myself as a pirate yogi!”
Hayley has successfully completed 200-hour Kundalini Tantra Yoga and 2 day Yin Yoga Training.
